Potty Training

Oh, This strange new thing,

having to pee in a white ring.

Mommy, do you know I'm scared,

I thought you understood what I declared.

I can barely say the different words,

yet she is saying I'm breaking the records.

When she hears that "plump"

she gives me a thumbs-up.

We Celebrate every new thing,

But unto my nappies I want to cling.

I don't like all this change,

It seems out of my range.

But for Mommy I'll give it a try,

At least she'll comfort me when I cry.
