I misunderstood the advert and thought that it was going to be a kid’s event. turns out I turned it into one.

At Blos they greeted us very warmly, gave us the best seat in the house, and even though my son turned the area into a sugar theatre we had great fun. They even gave us our hot chocolate and a bag of cookies to go on the house.

This adventure did not teach me so much as it taught my son. It taught him that there are boundaries to fun and when things get out of control there will be consequences. Thank you Blos, for being so kind and understanding. You have been a milestone adventure for my 4year old.

The reason I loved their theme is because one of the people I admire is Ruth Graves Wakefield, the inventor of the chocolate chip cookie. She was an American chef in 1938 and the owner of the Toll House Inn in Whitman, Massachusetts – a restaurant that served home cooked meals. She did not invent the cookie by accident, but rather as a speciality dessert to serve with ice cream, she was probably one of the first female entrepreneurs and business owners of her era. I admire her because she achieved success and fame for loving other people enough to stand out from the crowd for them, by being a female Entrepreneur and business owner in a time where it was often frowned upon for women to be Leaders.

Thank you Blos, for honouring Mrs. Ruth Graves Wakefield by celebrating chocolate chip cookie day and creating awareness about who invented the famous cookie. – see you again, soon📷.
