Age Vs. Real Age:

It is true that at a certain age we stop doing and start doing certain things to fit into the frame life provides for us. At 30 I experience boredom with certain things and exhilaration in other things. E.g. I don’t find pubs or clubs fun or interesting at all. For that matter I even prefer watching movies at home to watching it in a cinema. But I enjoy doing adventure activities more than ever.

In some ways I am very childlike, it’s because my personality wants to do things in a fun way. Not because I lack maturity or experience. In this regard to me age is just a number but because people my age do certain things in a certain way, it has forced me to conform to them. E.g. A party at my age is too much effort for people my age to even attend. But when it is for work or children, everyone shows up very quickly.

I guess what my question is: am I doing things that suit my age for the lifestyle that is suited to my age or am I doing them because that is what I really want to do? I know I don’t want to go out to party, but I may not necessarily want to stay at home either. So, what can I do that remains in the standard set for my age but is something that won’t’ feel boring. – Especially because e I have a 4-year-old boy that tags along to the thing is do very often.

To conclude. Age is just a number, but we should try and do things we love, without sticking to doing it with people in your age group. Our numbers may grow few over years, but the quality becomes more exclusive anyway.
