Many years ago, I had my creation theories obsession phase, I was roughly 18 years old at that time. There are many theories but 2 main ones that most of us know about. Creation theory or the Big Bang. I like to believe that its possibly a mixture of both. For me the big bang could have been how the creation theory played out. But the main part is that it started with God breathing as He spoke us into existence. This is our first reference of creation. I read the other day in Jeremiah 29:10-14: “I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.” Here we can see that God has thoughts, which should not be a surprise since we are created in His image. We even have protein molecules called Laminin, that holds our bodies together as described by Louie Giglio as being in the shape of a cross. Sound specialists have analysed the sound we make when breathing as pronouncing one of God’s names – Yahweh.
This line of thinking supports my stories about how powerful our minds and thoughts are. It’s what gives us as individuals the ability to create, just like our Creator. It’s what separates us from other animals. Next, I asked myself a few questions: “What am I Creating?” What we value is also very important, because it influences what we think and how we behave, who we are, who we are becoming, what we are creating and where we are going to end up in life. What we think we are creating.
Here are some more questions we can ask ourselves:
1. Who am I?
2. What are the most important things for me?
3. What do I want to be remembered for?
4. What am I spending my money and time on?
5. What happened to me in the past that gave me an opportunity to add value to other people?
6. What am I doing with what I have?
7. Am I taking responsibility for all of this?
If you investigate the meaning of the word Authority, you will see that you can only have authority, responsibility or control over what you think, who you are and what you create. Thus, we have a very real responsibility over these things. Taking authority over things that we own is our gift but also our responsibility. We alone can control our emotions, use our talents and our creativity etc.
