How to Calm your Mind:

Some Scientists, cultures and groups have proved that intuition is a real and tangible gift humans possess. They measured it via brain waves and gave the explanation to butterflies or reactions from our gut in certain situations like stress or being in love as the same responses we get when we empathize with other people. This is not just nerves, but also our intuition.
Because we are so busy, especially working and living in a world our species created, we forget to live in the actual world as well. Nature has a way to calm our minds enough to pull us into a place where we re-connect with our intuition. Our intuition exists primarily in our subconscious mind and we get glimpses of it into our conscious mind via our emotions and body signals. Our subconscious keeps us safe and is a lot like our guidance system we created through our thoughts and reactions to life. When we learn how to calm our mind and thoughts we tap into our intuition so much better. When you are in tune with and act on your intuition you strangely become more confident. When we are relaxed we make better decisions. Our first thoughts or answers in our minds are normally the correct answer.
One definite example of our intuition is a mothers six sense, when you just instinctively know that your child needs you or that they are doing something they should not be doing. Another way to look at intuition and subconscious is the saying, you are what you eat. We also are what we watch, listen to and who we spend time with. I think that we often overlook the deep effects things can have on us regarding our subconscious.
How to calm your mind:
1. Live in the present moment in your thoughts. Focus fully on what’s going on around you.
2. Observe and use memory to take notes of details.
3. Control your thoughts – especially the ones that lead to emotions.
4. Keep thought journals to stay aware of your thoughts.
5. Don’t over analyse too much.
6. Tap into your authentic side, don’t be afraid to be different than other people.
7. Take good care of your social image.
8. Plan and Prepare and envision situations. When you are prepared you will feel more confident, calm and in control.
9. Sleep enough – rested minds work the best.
10. Spend your time on people and things that makes you experience contentment and gratitude.
11. And lastly monitor what you read, listen to and who you talk to since this has a big impact on what we think and could ultimately believe.
I found when I am calm and focused, my intuition helps me to achieve more with better results as when I am stressed and unfocused. I practice to really listen to other people. To focus on what is happening in real time. I try to shut out noise and clutter, especially when I am in conversation with someone. When I do this, I can often sense the people I talk to emotions. I am acting completely empathetic. Understanding others and empowering them by asking them questions that helps them solve their problems. In other words when I don’t try so hard to impress people but rather focus on helping them. I see it in the amount of respect, positive reactions and even compliments I get in feedback from others.
